About Sarah
Hi, I'm Sarah Wilkinson, a Gold Coast–based NDIS Support Coordinator with nine years of experience across support coordination, disability support, Supported Independent Living (SIL) and service leadership. I hold an Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management and am also a qualified breathwork instructor and trauma-informed facilitator, with a background in mindset and confidence coaching. My experience has shaped my understanding of the importance of looking beyond a person's diagnosis or circumstances to recognise their individual strengths, abilities and potential. Throughout my career, I have supported participants with a wide range of needs and circumstances, including hospital transitions, complex case coordination, employment transitions, and working alongside forensic services and Child Safety. I also assist participants with NDIS plan implementation, budgeting, plan reviews, housing pathways and connecting with appropriate providers and supports that align with their individual goals. I understand that navigating the NDIS can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly when there are multiple services involved, complex circumstances to manage or significant changes taking place. My approach is to make this process as clear and manageable as possible, providing practical guidance, advocating for your needs and helping ensure your supports are working together in a way that makes sense for you. I believe great support coordination is about much more than managing a plan. It is about building genuine relationships, listening without judgement, understanding what matters most to each person and working collaboratively to turn goals into meaningful outcomes. I take a person-centred approach, recognising that every participant has their own priorities, challenges and vision for their future. My role is to walk alongside you, help you understand your options and support you to make informed decisions about your life and the supports you choose. With my background in trauma-informed practice, breathwork and confidence coaching, I also value the connection between wellbeing, self-belief and independence. I aim to create a supportive environment where participants feel comfortable expressing themselves, building confidence and exploring new opportunities at their own pace. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors and am passionate about music and all things personal development. I bring that same energy, curiosity and enthusiasm to my work, encouraging people to recognise their strengths, build on their abilities and explore what is possible for their future. I look forward to getting to know you, understanding what is important to you and working alongside you and your support network to help you build confidence, strengthen independence and move towards the life you want to live.
