About Mia
Hi, I'm Mia Holton, Support Coordinator at Specialised Support Coordination Co. I am passionate about supporting people to navigate life's challenges with confidence, dignity, and the right supports to achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes. With extensive experience across Housing and Homelessness Services, Youth Justice, Supported Independent Living (SIL), Disability Support, and Employment Services, I have worked alongside individuals experiencing complex and often intersecting challenges, including disability, mental health, homelessness, social disadvantage, and involvement with the justice system. I am currently completing a Bachelor of Social Work, combining contemporary evidence-based practice with extensive hands-on experience supporting people with complex needs. My approach is compassionate, person-centred, and trauma informed. I believe every individual deserves to be heard, respected, and empowered to make decisions about their own life. I take the time to build genuine relationships with participants, understand their unique goals and circumstances, and work collaboratively to develop practical, sustainable supports that promote independence and wellbeing.
